Porcelain tooth veneer is a treatment performed by rasping only the front surfaces without cutting the teeth, causing minimal damage to the healthy tooth. It is the process of gluing after rasping the teeth. Porcelain veneer is generally used in teeth that have lost their true color and do not whiten. It is the veneer used in the joining of discrete teeth, which have lost their shape, and in the renewal of broken teeth.
Porcelain veneer treatment can be applied to any patient who wants it. Teeth are not damaged and yellowed by consumed things such as coffee, tea and cigarettes. It is a treatment performed using durable materials that do not deteriorate in color. The porcelain veneer is no different from the real tooth, as is its high abrasion resistance. Porcelain dental treatment is applied in 2-3 sessions.
If the treatment of your choice is a porcelain crown many treatment methods are available:
CEREC® CAD/CAM: In just one office visit, you will have a fully completed porcelain crown. Since your crown is designed and created in our private VIP clinic using CEREC®CAD/CAM technology, there’s no need for a temporary crown or a second visit.
When the highest level of natural translucency of your crown’s porcelain surface is important, this procedure is used. During your first clinic visit, CEREC®CAD/CAM technology is used to design your crown. Then you will be fitted with a temporary crown to protect your gum and tooth or dental implant. During a second clinic visit, our dental professionals will fit and permanently bond your crown.
